Congratulations first of all to Austria and Conchita Wurst but also to Marc Sieger and the Skywalker team on their victory at ESC 2104.
Skywalker created the 3D-High-Speed-Camera-Rig and 2D-High-Speed-Camera-Rig at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, all powered by Visual act Winches and the Visual act Stage Control System.
3D-system flight space: 60m x 70m x 12m (flight height), 10m/s max. speed; full gyroscopic stabilized Libra remote head; Optical fibre connection to the camera and for the first time ever full motion control shots with a virtual overlay!
2D-System- flight space: 50m x 30m (flight height), 6m/s max. speed; full gyroscopic stabilized Libra remote head; Optical fibre connection to the camera.
With approx 400 different flight paths in 3 live shows, an overall flight distance of more than 300km and about 2000m of rope that were moved through the Eurovision Arena for every single flight we have more than overstepped our limits and thus broadened not only ours, but also the audience’s horizons !!
